This can be discussed with your local Service Manager. While we follow all local labour laws, overtime is a part of being there for customers when they need us. And we pay overtime rates accordingly.

Yes. We match up a percentage of your annual earnings, starting one year after you begin working with us.

In addition to cross-training on all repairs, maintenance, and service calls, we promote from within. Technicians that demonstrate the ability to perform their duties reliably, and who want to learn how to manage people and balance customer needs, are given the opportunity to succeed.  

Yes. Being a Pro Reefer tech means getting a chance to see all of Canada, if you like. New scenery, new challenges, new people, all while building your career, skills, and expertise. 

Technicians are expected to possess professional skills in one of the following areas: HVAC, refrigeration, buses, or electrical. We will help you build the rest of your skills.

We prioritize your training and development, drawing upon over 500 years of combined technician experience from across Canada.

Handheld devices (including cell phones) are provided to every technician in the field. Tablets sync in real-time to our database, so you can log your work right as soon as it is done. No paperwork to complete at the end of the day.

Gas cards are also provided to technicians when they receive their vehicle. 

Yes, during the pandemic, Pro Reefer's services were deemed essential across the country. 

We play an integral role and help to keep moving the supply chain of food, pharmaceuticals, and other essential goods. 

Yes. You need your tools to deliver exceptional customer service. We provide an annual tool allowance so that you can perform your job to the best of your ability.
